Best friends that slay stays together to stay together. (That’s how the saying goes, right?)
Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid (the duo that make up KenGi) have come together in the name of Fendi’s fall/winter 2017-2018 ad campaign photos shot by the one and only Karl Lagerfeld.
Karl said that he was inspired by the new logo of the Maison that, for mde, is like an “F en Folie
He also added that “Because of its crazy and unexpected upside-down position. I chose to play with exaggerated-scale versions of this logo and with the main colors of the collection, a mix of certain blues, camel and obviously red.”
The BFFs models are seen in strong, confident poses put side by side, with humorous background of Fendi’s new, modern logo in varying sizes.
The very first time which was also the last time we saw the power BFFs was feature on a campaign’s limelight was for the drop of H&M x Balmain – a popular collection by the fast-fashion retailer, the exact one which their fellow supermodel Jourdan Dunn was also a part of.
Obviously, when it comes to working together beside each other, it’s not a new thing except that these Karl-shot of the two are not close to anything you’ve seen in the past.
As we draw nearer to August 2017 issues of magazines worldwide, these spreads will take many pages but for now, all you can get is a sneak pic below.
